Vichyssoise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 leeks
    1 large onion
    1/2 c. butter
    5 c. chicken stock
    2 medium potatoes
    freshly chopped chives
    3 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 stalk celery
    salt and pepper
    1 1/4 c. whipping cream
Preparation
    Cut the leeks into 1/4-inch slices, using the white parts plus about 1 inch of the lightest green parts.
    Chop the onion finely.
