Rice Meat Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. rice (uncooked)
1 lb. ground beef
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 tsp. grated onion
2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
2 1/2 c. tomato juice
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. sugar
Preparation

Combine rice with beef, egg, onion, salt, pepper and 1/2 cup tomato juice. Mix lightly. Shape mixture into 18 balls.
Place in skillet. Add sugar to remaining 2 cups tomato juice. Pour juice over meat balls in skillet. Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer and cover 15 minutes, basting occasionally.
