Southern Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices of bacon
    1 large pkg. frozen cut green beans
    1/4 cup finely chopped onion
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Cook bacon until crispy and set aside. In the hot bacon drippings add the frozen beans, stirring to coat. Cover and cook on medium heat for 5 minutes. Add the onion and season with salt and pepper. Cover and continue to cook until beans are tender and have turned a dark green. Crumble bacon on top and serve.
