Louisiana Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef chuck
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    4 c. hot water
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 bay leaves
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. cold water
    2 cans Veg-All homestyle large cut vegetables
Preparation
    Brown meat in oil.
    Add hot water, lemon juice, garlic, bay leaves and seasonings.
    Cover and simmer 2 hours or until tender, stirring occasionally.
    Remove bay leaves.
    Combine flour and water.
    Add to stew, mixing well.
    Stir in vegetables and liquid; continue cooking, uncovered, until liquid thickens and vegetables are heated, about 5 to 10 minutes.
