Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. pecans
    3/4 c. dark corn syrup
    1 Tbsp. melted oleo
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 egg yolks (save whites)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except egg whites, thoroughly.
    Beat the 3 egg whites until stiff.
    Fold into mixture and mix well.
    Pour into uncooked 9-inch pie shell.
    Bake slowly for 1 hour at 300\u00b0.
