Cashew Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or oleo
    3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    4 oz. (half 8 oz. pack) cream cheese, softened
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream butter, sugar and cream cheese until fluffy.
    Add next 3 ingredients.
    Mix until smooth.
    In another bowl, sift next 4 ingredients.
    Add dry ingredients to creamed mix.
    Stir until a soft dough forms.
    Fold in nuts. Shape in 1-inch balls.
    Place on greased baking sheet.
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
    Cool.
    Yield: 5 dozen cookies.
