Baked Pork Chops, Creole Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops
    2 c. thinly sliced potatoes
    1 c. thinly sliced onions
    1 c. thinly sliced bell peppers
    1 (20 oz.) can tomatoes
    salt and pepper
    garlic salt
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    3 tsp. minced parsley
    1 bay leaf
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
Preparation
    Rub a deep skillet or casserole with oil.
    Arrange potatoes in bottom.
    Arrange chops over them.
    Spread chops with onions, bell peppers and tomatoes.
    Add salt, pepper, garlic salt and thyme.
    Put bay leaf and parsley on top.
    Cover and bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until chops are tender.
    Discard bay leaf and serve.
