French Cherry Delight - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 egg whites, slightly beaten
1 c. sugar
20 soda crackers, crushed
1 tsp. vanilla (for crust)
1 tsp. vinegar
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 tsp. baking powder
1 large Cool Whip
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla (for filling)
1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation

Gradually beat sugar into beaten egg whites.
Add vanilla and vinegar.
Combine crackers, baking powder and nuts.
Fold into egg whites.
Mix well.
Spread in a 9 x 13-inch buttered baking dish and bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Cool; add powdered sugar, vanilla and cream cheese to Cool Whip.
Mix until smooth and spread over baked egg white mixture.
Spoon cherry pie filling on top.
Keep in refrigerator until ready to serve.
