Macaroni Creole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. elbow macaroni
1 lb. bulk sausage
1 green pepper, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (No. 2) tomatoes (3 1/2 c.)
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper (black)
pinch of oregano
1 tsp. chili powder
8 oz. American cheese
Preparation
-
Fry and drain bulk sausage.
Reserve 4 teaspoons fat.
Saute onion and green pepper in fat until soft.
Add tomatoes and seasonings.
Simmer 15 minutes.
Cook elbow macaroni minimum time for baking.
