Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut in 3/4-inch cubes
    flour
    salt and pepper
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 (6 oz.) can mushrooms
    1 c. sour cream
    1 can tomato soup
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    6 to 8 drops Tabasco sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Dredge meat in seasoned flour (with added salt and pepper). Melt shortening and brown meat well in skillet.
    Add onion, garlic and mushrooms; saute lightly.
    Reduce heat to simmer.
    Combine cream, tomato soup, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, salt and pepper.
    Pour over meat.
    Cover and cook 45 minutes or until tender.
    Serve over hot rice.
