Fried Gruyere - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 slices Gruyere
1 c. fine bread crumbs
1 whole egg
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 stick butter
Preparation

Combine the egg, milk, salt and pepper.
Dip the cheese in the mixture, then into bread crumbs; repeat.
Heat the batter in a skillet and fry the dipped cheese until brown.
