Crispy Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. double-acting baking powder
    1/8 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
    4 c. fresh or canned fruit
Preparation
    Place butter in an 8 x 10 x 2-inch baking pan.
    Place in a warm oven to melt butter.
    In a bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
    Stir in the milk and blend until smooth.
