Speedy Lasagna - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground chuck
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. sugar
3 1/2 c. Italian tomato sauce or 1 (30 oz.) jar Prego sauce
8 oz. cooked lasagna noodles
1 pt. canned tomatoes
2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
1 c. cottage cheese (optional)
1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Brown the ground chuck in a medium saucepan.
Drain off fat. Add tomatoes, Italian seasoning, sugar and tomato sauce.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Cook lasagna noodles.
Spread about half of the sauce in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Top with half of the noodles.
Combine the cheeses.
Top noodles with half of the cheese and more sauce.
Repeat layers ending with sauce.
Sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese on top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until bubbly.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
