Tamale Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. dry Great Northern beans
    1 large can hot tamales
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cook dry beans until done, leaving slightly soupy. Season with salt and pepper (or red pepper flakes). Add canned tamales; remove paper from them after they get \"rinsed\" off in bean liquid. Cut them into large chunks in pot. Add cheese and beat until cheese melts.
