Instant Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. butter cake mix
    1/2 c. applesauce
    4 whole eggs
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. instant butterscotch pudding
    8 oz. candied pineapple
    8 oz. candied cherries
    1 pt. chopped pecans
    2 Tbsp. rum flavoring
Preparation
    Omit water and add instead 1/2 ounce vanilla and 1/2 ounce lemon flavoring.
