Roasted Pecans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. oil or melted shortening
    2 c. pecan halves
    salt to taste
    ground cayenne pepper to taste
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Mix the oil, pecans, salt and pepper in a medium sized mixing bowl.
    Turn into a shallow baking pan and roast until done, about 15 to 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.
    Serve warm or cold.
