Baker'S Sweet Chocolate Igloo Dessert - cooking recipe

1 Tbsp. gelatin, softened in 1/4 c. cold water
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. milk
1 pkg. Baker's German's sweet chocolate
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
3 egg whites
1/3 c. sugar
1 pkg. devil's food cake mix
1 c. whipping cream
chocolate curls
Preparation

Soften gelatin in water.
Combine 1/3 cup sugar, salt and milk in medium saucepan.
Add Baker's German's sweet chocolate.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate is completely melted.
Blend mixture well with eggbeater.
Add small amount of hot mixture to 3 slightly beaten egg yolks, stirring vigorously.
Gradually add remaining hot mixture, stirring constantly.
Return to saucepan and cook over low heat until mixture is slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat. Add softened gelatin and stir until dissolved.
Pour into a large bowl and chill until partially thickened.
Stir in vanilla.
