Japanese Fruit Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 small box orange Jell-O (dry)
    1 (No. 2) can pie cherries, drained
    4 bananas, sliced thin
    1 c. chopped pecans
    8 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Cook crushed pineapple, sugar and cornstarch until thick and clear.
    Add small box of Jell-O and 1 can of pie cherries (drained).
    Cool.
    Add bananas and nuts.
    Pour into 2 baked pie shells and top with Cool Whip.
