Fudge Topped Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine or butter, melted
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. unsifted flour
    2/3 c. cocoa
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    3 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In large bowl, combine margarine, sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, eggs, milk and 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla; beat well.
    Stir in nuts, if desired.
    Spread in greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake for 40 minutes.
    Just before brownies are done, in a heavy saucepan over low heat, melt chips with sweetened condensed milk and remaining vanilla.
    Spread over brownies. Cool; chill and cut into bars.
    Makes 36 to 40 brownies.
