Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. white sugar
    1 1/3 c. chopped pecans
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/3 to 1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 1/3 c. light syrup
    6 eggs
    3 Tbsp. self-rising flour
Preparation
    Mix
    sugar,
    flour
    and
    butter until smooth.
    Then add syrup, eggs and pecans.
    Add vanilla last.
    Mix well and pour into cooked pie shells.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Reduce heat
    and bake at 300\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until firm.
    Makes 2 (9-inch) pies.
