Melt In Your Mouth Sausages Or Spaghetti Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. Italian sausage (sweet, mild or hot)
    48 oz. spaghetti sauce
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 large onion, sliced thin
    1 chopped green pepper (optional)
    1 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 tsp. parsley flakes or 1 Tbsp. fresh parsley
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Place sausage in skillet and cover with water.
    Simmer for 10 minutes; drain.
    Discard water.
    Place remaining ingredients in slow cooker; add drained sausage, cut in small pieces.
    Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, then increase temperature to high and cook 1 hour more.
    Serve in buns or over cooked spaghetti. Sprinkle with more Parmesan cheese.
