Granny'S Original Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 stick butter, melted
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
    1 unbaked (9-inch) pie shell
Preparation
    Beat eggs, stir in other ingredients and pour into pie shell. Top with pecan halves if you have them.
    Bake at 305\u00b0 for about 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when stuck in center of pie.
    Cool before serving.
