Chinese Chicken Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. chicken breasts
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. water chestnuts, drained and sliced
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped red pepper (optional)
    1 can rice noodles or chow mein noodles
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 soup can skim milk
    1 pkg. slivered almonds
Preparation
    Grease a 2-quart casserole dish with margarine.
    Layer ingredients with chicken, celery, water chestnuts, noodles, onion and peppers in that order.
    Repeat layers.
    Saute almonds in a skillet with a little margarine and sprinkle on top of casserole. Mix soup with milk and pour over all.
    Cover and bake 30 to 45 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    Serves 6 to 8 people.
