Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 Tbsp. milk
1 egg, well beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped dates
coconut for rolling
Preparation

Combine butter, sugar, Rice Krispies, milk and egg and cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add vanilla and dates; mix.
Cool before rolling in coconut.
Keep in cool place.
