Kielbasa Dinner - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. kielbasa or other smoked sausage, cut in pieces
1 medium head cabbage, cut in wedges
4 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
4 medium carrots, peeled and cut as desired
4 c. water or leftover beef broth
1 bay leaf
1 clove garlic
1 Tbsp. each: caraway seed and chopped parsley
Preparation

Combine sausage and vegetables in Dutch oven.
Add water, bay leaf, garlic and caraway seed.
Bring to a boil.
Cover and reduce heat.
Simmer 45 minutes until vegetables are tender.
Remove bay leaf and garlic.
Arrange sausage and vegetables on platter. Sprinkle with parsley.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
