Vanilla Melts(A Cookie) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. cornstarch
    1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    3/4 c. butter (real), softened (3 sticks)
    1 tsp. vanilla (real)
Preparation
    In
    bowl
    stir\ttogether first 3 ingredients.
    In large bowl with
    mixer
    at
    medium speed, beat butter until smooth. Beat in flour mixture and vanilla until well blended.
    Will be very stiff.
    Refrigerate
    1
    hour.
    Shape
    into 1-inch balls. Place about
    1
    1/2-inches apart on ungreased sheet.
    Flatten with lightly floured fork.
    Bake in 375\u00b0 oven 10 to 12 minutes or until edges
    are\tlightly
    browned.
    Makes
    3
    dozen.
    Very short and delicious.
