Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. quick rolled oats
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    2 beaten eggs
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. baking soda
    1/2 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine rolled oats and boiling water; let stand 10 minutes. Cream together butter, brown sugar and white sugar.
    Mix with oatmeal mixture.
    Add eggs, flour, vanilla, baking soda and salt. Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
