Whole Wheat Bread Or Buns - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cake yeast or 1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 c. water
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 1/2 c. hot water
1/2 c. brown sugar
3 tsp. salt
1/4 c. shortening
3 c. whole wheat flour
5 c. white flour (Robin Hood)
Preparation
-
Mix yeast, 1/4 cup water and 1 tablespoon brown sugar until dissolved.
Add remaining ingredients.
Put in greased bowl.
Let raise until double.
Punch down and make loaves or buns.
Put in pans.
Let raise again.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
