Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 whole eggs, well beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1 c. white Karo
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix ingredients and pour into unbaked pie crust.
    Heat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Place pie in oven for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 300\u00b0 and continue baking for 45 minutes or until set.
    Place pie on lower rack of oven and place a rack above pie with a cookie sheet on the rack over pie.
