Maple Nut Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. maple syrup
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. walnut meats
Preparation
    Boil syrup, cream of tartar and butter to 233\u00b0.
    Cool and beat until creamy.
    Add walnuts and salt.
    Pour into greased shallow pan.
    Cool and cut.
