Pierogi Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 to 12 potatoes, boiled and mashed
    3/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    2 sticks butter or margarine
    2 onions, diced finely
    1 lb. lasagne noodles, cooked
Preparation
    Mash potatoes.
    Add cheese; beat with mixer.
    Saute onions in margarine until soft.
    Add 1/3 of onions to potato mixture. Salt to taste.
