Chocolate Chip Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1/4 lb. margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar (save 1/2 c. for topping)
    2 eggs
    1 c. sour cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cream margarine, 1 cup sugar and eggs.
    Add sour cream and vanilla.
    In separate bowl, sift and mix flour, baking powder and baking soda. Combine with creamed mixture.
    Spread half of mixture in pan. Combine 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon, chocolate chips and nuts. Sprinkle half of this mix over batter in pan.
    Spread remaining batter in pan, then remaining topping mix.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
