Velvety Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slightly beaten eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. scalded milk
    1 (9-inch) unbaked shell, rolled less than 1/8-inch
Preparation
    Thoroughly mix eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla.
    Slowly stir in hot mix.
    Just before mixing these, beat the mix on high speed just a little.
    Bake in very hot oven (425\u00b0) for 15 minutes; turn back to 350\u00b0 and bake until knife comes out clean.
