Pepparkakor - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. shortening
    3/4 c. light brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. molasses
    3 Tbsp. water, boiled and cooled
    1 tsp. grated lemon rind
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. ginger
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cardamon
Preparation
    Beat first 2 ingredients.
    Add next 3. Mix flour, soda and spices and add to first mixture.
    Chill.
    Cut into shapes and bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
