School-House Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
5 c. hot water
milk
6 pkg. dry yeast
10 lb. self-rising flour
3 c. shortening or oleo
Preparation
-
Mix sugar and hot water in a gallon jug.
Stir until sugar is dissolved.
Add milk until water is lukewarm.
Add yeast and stir well.
Set aside and let it rise to the top of the jug.
Stir down then finish filling the jug with milk.
