Potato Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large cooked potatoes
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    1 to 1 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 c. lard
    3 slices wheat bread, cut into cubes
Preparation
    Saute bread cubes in lard until golden brown.
    Grate potatoes; add flour, salt and eggs.
    Beat mixture lightly.
    Stir in bread cubes.
    Mix well and form dumplings.
    Cook in boiling water for 20 minutes.
    Kettle should be covered during cooking.
    Serves 4 to 6.
