Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 potatoes, diced
    2 onions, cut fine
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. rich milk or cream (can be canned cream)
    pinch of grated nutmeg
Preparation
    Cook potatoes and onions in 2 quarts of water until tender. Mash well and return to heat.
    Add seasonings and butter; bring to a boil.
    Add hot milk.
    Serve immediately with croutons.
    Serves 4 to 6 people.
