Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. dark Karo syrup
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 pastry shell
Preparation
    Beat eggs.
    Add sugar, syrup, shortening, salt, vanilla and nuts.
    Mix well and pour into pastry shell.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
