Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 2/3 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. water
2 eggs
1 c. cooked pumpkin
1/2 tsp. each of nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon
1/2 c. pecans (optional)
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add water, eggs and pumpkin. Combine dry ingredients and add to pumpkin mixture.
Bake in loaf pan at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour.
