Green Beans Baked In Sour Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    fresh ground pepper
    1 c. sour cream
    1 1/2 lb. fresh green beans
    2/3 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    Heat butter to bubbling.
    Add onion and saute until soft. Sprinkle flour over; stir and cook 2 to 3 minutes.
    Stir in salt, pepper and sour cream.
    Mix well, then fold into cooked beans. Turn into a 2-quart casserole and sprinkle with cheese and bread crumbs.
    Dot with extra margarine and bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes until cheese has melted.
    Serves 6 to 8.
    Good with beef.
