Do-Ahead Party Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 medium or 9 large potatoes, peeled
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 c. sour cream
    2 tsp. onion salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    grated Cheddar or American cheese
Preparation
    Boil and mash potatoes.
    Mix cream cheese with sour cream, onion salt and pepper; beat mixture into potatoes until smooth and fluffy.
    Season to taste.
    Place in 2-quart greased, covered casserole in refrigerator.
