Lamb Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    lamb meat (shank, bones or stew meat)
    little garlic or garlic powder
    small onion, chopped
    potatoes, cut in chunks
    carrots, cut in chunks
    salt, pepper and cumin to taste
Preparation
    Put lamb pieces in pot.
    Add water and simmer 45 minutes.
    Can add onion at this time and little garlic powder.
    When lamb is just about done, add chunks of potatoes and carrots.
    Add salt, pepper and cumin.
    Simmer about 15 minutes more.
