Dream Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 c. sifted plain flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs, well beaten
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. shredded coconut
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine the
    first
    4 ingredients and spread in a well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
