Indian Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. green tomatoes
    1 1/2 qt. cabbage
    6 onions
    4 red sweet peppers
    4 green peppers
    8 c. sugar
    6 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. dry mustard
    3 tsp. turmeric
    2 Tbsp. celery salt
    1 1/2 tsp. whole cloves
Preparation
    Grind first 5 ingredients.
    Cover with 1/2 cup salt and let stand overnight; drain.
    Add sugar, vinegar and spices.
    Bring to boil and simmer 3 hours.
    Put in sterile hot jars; no processing needed.
