Magic Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. milk
    4 c. sliced peaches
Preparation
    Melt margarine in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Combine 1 cup sugar, flour, baking powder and milk in bowl; mix well.
    Pour into prepared pan.
    Arrange peaches over top.
    Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 50 minutes or until brown.
    Serve warm.
    Yields 12 servings.
