Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg whites
    4 c. sugar
    1 c. white corn syrup
    1 c. water
    2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff at high speed on electric mixer. Combine sugar, syrup and water in saucepan; stir until sugar dissolves.
    Cook over medium heat without stirring until syrup forms a hard ball when dropped in cold water.
    Add slowly to egg whites, beating on high speed until mixture thickens and holds shape.
    Stir in nuts with spoon; drop onto waxed paper.
    Yield: 50 pieces.
