Brisket Beef With Onion Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. brisket of beef
1 1/2 c. chopped onions
2 Tbsp. cooking oil
2 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. meat stock
1 Tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 garlic clove
Preparation

Cover meat with boiling water.
Add vinegar, salt and pepper. Simmer 3 hours or until meat is tender.
Remove to hot platter. Brown onions and garlic in fat.
Add flour, stir until blended. Pour over stock in which meat was cooked.
Cook slowly, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened.
Parsley may be added.
