Beef Slices In Wine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. steak
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 cloves garlic
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. rosemary
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 c. dry red wine
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1/4 tsp. basil
Preparation
    Cut steak crosswise into diagonal slices, 1/4-inch thick.
    In hot Dutch oven, saute slices, a few at a time, until browned. Remove.
    Pour off pan drippings.
    Add garlic, 1/4 cup parsley, salt, rosemary, basil, oregano, tomato sauce, wine and browned meat.
    Simmer, covered and stirring occasionally, until meat is tender, about 1 hour.
    Add mushrooms and simmer, covered, 5 minutes longer.
    Combine 2 tablespoons water and flour.
    Mix well. Stir into beef mixture.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer 1 minute or until thickened.
    Cook noodles.
    Serve over bed of noodles and sprinkle with parsley.
    Makes 6 servings.
