Buttermilk Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. granulated white sugar
    3 whole eggs, slightly beaten
    1 level Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Cream butter until soft and add sugar, beaten eggs, cornstarch and vanilla.
    Beat until blended well. Add buttermilk.
    Mix well.
    Pour into a 9-inch unbaked pie crust and bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown and set firm.
