Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. milk
1 tsp. melted shortening
Bermuda onions
Preparation

Stir dry ingredients together.
Stir in eggs, milk and shortening into flour mixture and beat until smooth.
Peel onions and slice thin.
Separate into rings and dip into batter.
Drop rings into deep hot fat.
Do not crowd in pan.
Fry about 2 minutes or until golden brown.
